hmmm odd the switch problem is lack of ground to headlight. it sounds like you have a wire problem between the relay and the light bulb. pull out the relay and check the circuit for continuity between the bulb socket and the relay socket. do you have a wiring diagram for this car? I dont have one handy. if i remember correctly i think its the terminal 5 in the relay socket. numbers are stamped in the terminal area of the relay need light they are kinda hard to see.

switch is on the grnd side of the circuit. it should be fuse-to- relay -to- headlight. thats one circuit in the relay from power to load. the other circuit in the relay is fuse -to- relay-to-switch/gnd(the relay is the load on this circuit.)

if you havent solved this problem yet i think i found it. i studied the diagram and it appears they seperated the 2 head lamp circuits inside the car and they travel into the engine compartment harness through seperate connectors. I am not sure on the location of these 2 connectors but my guess would be either in the right kick panel area or near the right strut tower. There should be a white 16 pin connector with a orange wire directly next to the release tab and on the end of that row (same side of the release tab) should be an orange with black tracer wire. I suspect this connector is where your problem lies. the orange with black wire is your low beam the other is your high. if you dont visually see the problem at that connector you could test for voltage there for both beams. another thing you could try to determine if the wireing in your engine area is cool is try your flash to pass feature on the switch it too is a seperate circuit like your theft circuit.

it is either near the right strut tower in the engine compartment or inside the car near the right kick panel. the schematic does not list the location of the connectors. judgeing by the way the connectors are labeled i would shoot for inside the car.

update:

put in new switch but bright on pass side is not working- what controls the brights ? it has to be seperate as my switch is brand new-

if i dont use my brights my lights work fine if i use my brights then pass side bright doesnt work then when i try to use my regular lights after that the pass side still doesn't work but if i keep switching it on and off eventually the pass side comes on..

help !!

the high beam indicator is spliced into the high beam wire for the right headlamp. does it illuminate when you flip the switch to high beams? the high beams are almost exclusively controled by the switch if you can find the headlamp sensor check for ground on the red with white tracer wire . with the connector plugged in and the head lights on high beams check for a ground on this wire. if there is no ground present your sensor is bad.
