mine ran into that problem, simple solution is to run power from the driver light to the passenger light from the wiring harness going to the drivers light... I don't know what the real fix to this situation is, but that will work. I'll check into this combination thing for myself... cause I'd really rather have it hooked up like the way it came from the factory, but this keeps me from getting tickets

mine was the same, all my fuses and wires were ok. It turned out to be the multifunction switch, the left stock on the steering column.

instead of posting a new topic i will just ask my headlight question here. my headlights flip up fine but when they flip down the driver side light shakes and studders like somethings gonna break.any idea what could be wrong?

check tutorial link in my signature fore headlight. I would just replace the switch if you can get at reasonable price. it is very hard to troubleshoot.

Passenger side Hi beam does not work. It is not the fuse or the bulb could it be the multifunction switch? Where on the steering column is it located? I have another parts car I can take it off. Dash Hi beam indicator does not work.

If it's not a fuse and your wiring is done right, the only option left is the switch. If you want to eliminate the switch as a possible problem, I would check for continuity on the circuit starting at the steering column plug. If you have continuity, then you have a bad switch.

I checked the continuity, and as expected it was the switch but the good thing is I found someone that has the switch for cheap. Thanks for the help hijacker I owe you one.
