Hi, my problem is that I have a '89 240sx and I am trying to replace my headlight motors using motors from a '90 240sx. The problem I am having is that once i've put the new motors on and hooked up all the wires and such, my headlights arn't synchronized when they come up. for example when I turn on my headlights the right one will come up all the way then go down halfway and finally turn on the light, and as for the left one it might come up then go all the way down. I have checked just about all of the fuses and wiring, including the toggle switch because i've cut the little wire and stuck an extra switch on there to get sleepy eyes. I'd really appreciate it if anybody would be able to give me any info on how to fix my headlights because I have trouble driving at night without them.

dude, don't get all upset/ offended . I know this ain't no chat room. I was just sayin I fixed the darn things. I'm sorry if the post made me seem like an *** or something but I saw nodbody was replying as quickly as some other people's posts so I got a little antsy. Plus I'm a little frustrated trying to get the stupid things to work all day because I really need my headlights to work so I can drive home at nights. Anyways it's all good.

well your in better shape then the winker i had yeasterday, his left light stayed up all the time and his right had a mind of its own, we got a good laugh at it in the shop. I would hit the lights down button on the dash and the right light would go all the way down, then all the way up,then back down ,then up....... did it about 5 or six times on only one push of the button. the left hand side never moved.

Sorry didnt mean to come off as a hard ***. If you saw me responding to other posts before I got to yours its because I work off my recent topics list first and cover the threads I was already involved with, then start working off online mechanic new threads.
