Headlight Problem (Passenger stays on)

I searched for this and came up with one topic.. It was a couple years old.

When I turn my headlights off ('93) the lights go down but the passenger side will stay on as will the High Beam light on the dashboard. If I play with the combo switch sometimes it will go off. When I turn the lights back on if I turn the high beams on the blue light won't come on but the lights brighten.

I am thinking it is the switch, it just randomly started doing this last night. I have unplugged the battery at this point because it will just be sitting there and the lights will be off and the passenger side light will just come on.

If anyone has had this problem and it has been something other than the combo switch on the column let me know please.
