Headlight problem... need help

Sometimes one of my headlights goes on and sometimes it doesn't. The number of occurrences in which the headlight fails to turn on is increasing. I assume that the bulb is fine, because if it wasn't then it would never work. Could it have something to do with being lose, the wiring or bulb? I'm not sure. Help me out if you can.

If you have Xenon lights then it may be your ballasts giving you problems, Is it both lights at the same time or just one or the other? If it is both then it could be an issue with the headlight relay?
