My brother has a 2007 Versa , when he turns on the headlights the right headlight blinks 3 or 4 times then stays on. This happens each time he turns them on. Has anybody had the same problem, what was the solution? I advised him to check for a loose connection, maybe replace the bulb. I suppose it could be a fuse or relay too. The problem is that he and the car are 895 miles from where I live. Any insight would be appreciated.

If they're standard H bulbs, the most common "blinky/dim" problem is a burnt ground pin on the headlight connector. Sometimes they actually get hot enough to melt the plastic. For that reason, almost all parts stores sell pigtails. If he has LED aftermarkets, chances are the bulb is failing. If he has aftermarket HID's, it could be anything south of the power connection, ballast, igniter or bulb.

If the wiring is good, try replacing the bulb.
