Does anyone have a pathy and a friend with a QX4? I would like to see the difference in light on the road with the halogen headlights from a pathy and the factory HIDs from a QX4 in pics. I can only imagine the QX4 has better night time visibility.

I dont know what pathy lights are like personally, but the best part of a qx4 is its headlights. Every person who rides in my car at night comments on how bright they are. Now that i'm used to them, and I drive a car with halogens, it's almost like im only running the drl's.

My HID is also very good at night. I'd think not only QX4, but all HIDs on any brand cars are (should be) better than halogens.

Only if they are stock factory HIDs. HID retrofit kits in most halogen housings reflect tons of glare and are not an upgrade.

The stock headlights in my pathfinder were absolute garbage. First thing I did was retrofit projector hids and now the headlights are wicked.

Ive always thought the HID's in my qx4 were a bit weak..especially compared to the HID's in my dads lexus. After I changed the fog bulbs to philips crystalvisions, they are much better as they seem to fill in where the HID's left off.

SBK, your headlights probably are great. I'd love to retrofit like that. Some people just put an HID bulb in the regular housing and it looks horrible. Yours are sweet. There is also a black QX4 on here that did it and his fogs too. it looks bad a$$.
