Headlight motor question!

Sorry for the newbish question, but what would happen if you turn the knob on the headlight motor?

Thats how you wind up the spring to run the motor! lol

Seriously, the headlight pops up a little with each turn. Thats how you service the light if the motor burns out and its how you can do that "sleepy eye" look people like for some reason. The motor resets its self evey time so dont worry about twisting it back or anything.

oh I see thanks... yea I was wondering what they were for becaues I accidentally turned them while installing new horns.

There should be a cap that goes over them...

You should get one from a junkyard because those motors are not sealed at all...

defiantely get a cover

a junkyard will probably let you walk away with em for free, they arent a HUGELY needed part
