Tonight, I just got my headlights to finally go up and down. It will go up perfectly fine, but when it goes down, the motor will spin and hit the core support so then the headlights only go down about half way. Any ideas, are the motors spinning in reverse when going down?

Wait, the motor assembly itself spins? Like it isn't bolted down?

You can always try to rotate the motor by hand to go slow and see if it is catching on anything too. Just pop the little cover off and turn the knob.

The motor doesn't spin, it will spin the thing idk what it's called to put the headlight down and the bracket that connects to the motor and to the bar for the headlight will hit the core support.

And I just noticed that this should be in the general discussion area.

I think it should ok in this forum.

Do you think you could grab a picture or video of the issue and post it here so we can get on the same page?

We found the problem, there's brackets that are tweaked and making it hit.
