Hi guys, newbie here that needs some help. I have a 2006 qx56 and am trying to separate my headlight Assembly for an LED halo mod. I have experience in that category (baking headlight, etc) but when I got the headlight assembly out I ran into the adjusting motor. There is a ball joint type of connection, I understand that, but I have never worked with one before. Do I just give it a good tug? Is there some connector I'm not seeing or understanding?
Thanks for your help!!

BTW, is this forum on the Tapatalk app? I see the Russian version is! Lol!

Answered my own question. I just got in there and firmly but slowly worked it out. It just pops out. I am going to bake these headlights at low temp to remove the condensation from inside.
When I removed the xenon bulb housing, there was a lot of condensation around the unit itself. It CAN'T be normal for headlights to produce condensation is it? I dried the unit using heat and cleaned the area around the outside where the o ring sits. I am also going to reapply a bead of silicon around the outer seal of the headlight. I'll keep you posted!
