Headlight/Keyless entry help

okay here is the situation, i just installed fog lights (pics later) ok so what happens is the keyless entry only works from a 2 foot radius but when i disconnect the fogs the keyless workes from a last 50 yards away dose anyone know how to help me?

Huh that is strange, and does not make sense to me. How did you hook the fog lights up. I need a diagram of how you did this to make a judgment as this does not sound normal. Give me info to work with and then I can help you trouble shoot this. What wires you hooked up, where you hooked them up, and how you hooked them up. Don't leave anything out, did you use relays, fuse properly? All the details.

Well i ripped them out and now I need to go to the dealership because when i lock my car the lights dont blink, the lamp in the car dont turn off, and when i lock it the horn dosent beep, well its still under warrenty and they dont have to know about the fogs so, ill have to get them installed i guess =\

lol you take it and they are gonna see that someone tampered with the wiring and not cover it under warranty. Your on your own with fixing it. I became in good with the salesman that sold me my car and he said to make sure I make the car look stock when I take it in for anything so there are no probs.

no, no wireing got tamperd with i only hooked it up to the battery nothing spliced,cut, or snipped. looks factory

interesting, well either way they are gonna see that horn and tell you something. Trust they will find any and all reasons to blame you for causing it. what was ur AIM anyway?
