Well, it's not performance but it is technical. My 92 driver's side pop-up light has a nice little jiggle to it over bumps when it's up. I traced the problem to what I think is the bushing/bearing joint that connects the upper headlight rod to the motor rod. What is the best way of fixing this problem?

I am doing the silvia conversion, but this is an annoying problem to me, and I'm sure it's annoying to those in front of me. The conversion should be in about six months, but night driving until then will not be fun with this problem.

Junk Yard should fix your problem.

well if your getting rid of the lights anyways soon, jus tak off the rod, and fill the cup with silicon or rtv, then let it dry, it will kinda take up the space in the cup and it wont bounce as much,

Yeah, I was thinking of packing it with some high viscosity lube so that it would still rotate. Everything is still when I move the light with my hand except that joint, so I'm pretty sure that is all that is causing the jiggle. If packing it doesn't work I guess I will just replace the arm.

Thank you very much for all of the help!
