So you can save ur flaming for someone else. I am not new to cars, however would not consider myself a pro.

I have a 1997 240sx SE (Kouki) with a cracked front passenger headlight.

So I went and looked for a headlight. I found one for pretty cheap. Saw the front, and it looked correct. So i purchased it. However, when i went to install it there were tons of differences. Mainly the electrical connectors. The housing fit perfectly into place.

What is the problem?

Ive thrown around a couple of ideas, JDM vs OEM? , SE model vs LE/regular model? , but im not sure.

Can anyone clear this issue up for me?

Whats a front passanger tail light? Hmm I dont know, maybe its a different bulb type, but autozone sells plugs for many headlamp bulbs. If I were you I would just make it work with some wiring work. Shouldn't take too much time.

Go OEM. OEM are the best.

Just so you know, even if you do get them wired up, the light will shine directly at oncoming traffic because the cutoff shield in the projector is made for a RHD car. So be sure to adjust the lights down a little bit or you will blind everyone.
