A few nights ago, while driving home, I noticed that my headlights were off; this was AFTER having driven for a while at night. All the parking lights remained on while driving, but no headlights. In the morning, I checked the headlight fuses and found both the be blown. I replaced them, and after a few minutes of driving, they blew again. I checked the bulbs (which have been the same for a couple of years) and they were fine. Even turned on the headlights on WITHOUT the bulbs, and the fuses BLEW INSTANTLY! Attempted to look for exposed/crossing wires and could not find anything. I was reading in a few forum chats that sometimes the turn signal switch can cause the fuses to blow if the contacts are bad. Is this correct? I am thinking that would be the simplest place to start, aside from changing out bubs (but since the fuses blew without the bulbs connected, I doubt they are the cause). Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Hmmmmmm. I had the same issue but it was with only one headlight in an S14 Zenki. Mine turned out to be a bad ground running to the driver side headlight. The exposed wire was a foot or so passed where the body harness came into the engine bay where someone once cut into it and didnt properly rewire it. Did you thoroughly check your harness for any obvious sings of cutting? There could be a bare wire somewhere traveling from the origination of the wiring to the plug itself. Other than that i couldn't tell ya.
