Headlight flicker??

I've got a rather unique problem with my qx4. When I turn the left turn signal on and take a left hand turn, my headlights flicker precisely when the turn signal pops back up to the neutral position. Where do I begin to diagnose this? Any ideas as to the cause would be greatly appreciated.

Just a guess, but it sounds like your headlights are switching from low beam, to high beam, and back to low beam in a matter of a split second. Almost as if you are doing it yourself....only this time the signal stalk is doing it when it pops back up to the neutral position.The only fix for this would be to replace the signal stalk. I've done it in my 02 Pathfinder, and it's dead easy to do (It's a 10 minute job). The part should be under $100.00, if memory serves me correctly.Let us know.

I appreciate your help and I hope I'm as quick as you. With any luck, it shouldn't take me too long. I'll head down to the dealership and see how much they want for the part. I love this forum! Its awesome to have so many helpful people!

Please let me know how it turns out. Mine has had this problem for some time as well, but with the right turn signal, and occasionally, it causes the right headlamp to turn right off until I start the car again.

My 2001 qx4 does the same thing flicker and some times the right headlight goes off when turn signal switches itself back. the only way to get it back on without turning car off is to manually switch headlights off then on. normally works
