Not really feeling the headlight treatment, needs to match the car.

Need to ditch the front plate holder.

you do not seem to have the adjustable lumbar support. Mine's a 97, I think the trade off was no anti-lock brakes but a comfortable lumbar support.

Hey Naladude911,

I noticed in an old post that you mentioned you knew how to remove the center vents with clock assembly... Can you share how? I've been struggling with this thing forever just so I can change the clock bulbs... If i reach behind it with the radio and a/c out of the car, the right half of the clock/vent assembly pops out real easy, but the left side seems stuck on something, or maybe some clips? Let me know what you think... Thanks man!

Awesome, thanks man. I tried prying but it wasn't working... Is it just the bezel around the vents that comes off? Or is it the whole forward vent assembly with a couple of inches of duct going back as well? I'd appreciate the pics alot, when you get a chance. Thanks again!

check out phatg20.net

in the download section, they got the fsm for all the j's.

and to correct you those tabs that you said u need to press from the top. WRONG!!!! ur sure to break something if u try that.

once you take out the radio/ac unit. reach up more inside that hole, and you will find those clips. the picture if the fsm theres an arrow pointing down, that says up by it. that means that the top side is on the bottom of that pic. the pawl doesnt bent, but the metal clips on the bottom of that part do bend.

Thanks for the info and the service manual link! Once I saw the metal tabs in nala's image, i realized the whole "prying at the top" business was going to ruin my trim... I had been pushing and poking from the bottom forever as well, and never seemed to run across those clips until seeing the picture. Now I have the service manual so should be able to avoid that in the future...
