headlight cracked +some

i need some opinion on the headlight, i have the h4 conversion from ebay, and i just found out today that one of them is cracked (after about 4 months of use), i'm pretty sure something must of hit it, there's a lot of crap on ATL's streets, i dont know if i should replace it since the cracks might let moisture in and ruin my bulb, and if i do replace it, is there anyway to protect it from happening again, and the ones that i have are made out of glass, is there one that is made out of quality plastic? offer ur experience and opinion oh yeahthere's an update on the suspension FAQ if ur are interested
