Took my '93 Q45 on a road trip. Ran great! Somewhere had something break the glass on my headlight. Bulb still good, but major rain on its way. I opened the hood, took the plastic clips off the top cover, but have no clue how to access the broken glass! I want to take it out and hopefully super-glue the pieces back in. I also, want to replace the bulbs with newer, brighter ones. I can't seem to find any info on how to access the glass cover!
Live out in the country, need to fix this before the rains hit! Can you help?
I have a picture, but don't know how to post it!
Thanks!

On top of the headlight closest to the fender there is a star screw and then the turn signel has to be popped out form the lower part of it closest to the headlight (don't pry off the glass of the headlight) u can get a thin flat head screwdriver in there and pop it out. Then you will see two 10mm nuts that hold on the headlight and there's two 10mm bolts on the other side of the lights near the rad. The bulbs come out real easy.
Idk if that helps you much.

Step-by-step instructions… I LIKE THAT! Thank you so much! For now, I covered the glass with clear strapping tape to keep the water out! Have a great day!

Instead of going through all the work to try and fix that, why dont you just find a Q in the junkyard and take a nice headlight out?

The nearest junk yard to me with a Q is 45 miles away! No headlights! Don't have many Q's around here. Plus, this does not cost me much! But thanks for the suggestion!

Email me as I have an extra set if you want a safe repair.

Once the glass lens is gone, so is your headlight integrity. No big deal unless you are driving in the country in the middle of the night in the rain and the lights go out.
