I am looking to remove the "flip-ups" on my 92 240SX and to replace them with a type of "sloping" headlight, such as the kind in the 300ZX. (Too much shaking of the headlights at night when at high speeds, and bumps in the road tend to knock them out of alignment.) Could I possibly use a set of 300ZX headlights and just replace the hood to make it all fit? I'm not very technical at this stuff, but I am hoping to replace the flip-ups with something more sturdy and give it a unique look. Could yall help me out here?

Welcome to NICO  If you've got the $ anything is possible. Just go to your local body shop and see what kind of estimate they will give you to do the conversion, if they can even do it. Good luck

Thanks for the welcome. I have actually been coming to this site for a while to read up on the posts and the site's install updates. Finally just decided to join up...:pface

As for the body shop, I was afriad I was going to have something custom made, but was trying to work around it. Oh well. Thanks anyhow.

You could always go with a pre-fab kit like Abflug or East bear. I think East bears are hideous, though the abflug design is the sloping style you're looking for. I also saw a custom setup on a s13 coupe that had skyline taillights. The fronts went deeper into the bumper than stock, had a smooth glass covering, and round lights inside, instead of the rectangle ones in the Abflug. PEACE. Tek.

I have seen the 240SX with the skyline tail-lights on the web. Really interesting...fresh, new look.I like the stock tail-lights though...In the mean time I will try out those other brands you mentioned. Aberfluge sounds like my best bet.

Thanks for the tips...

240 Tek... :help Could you give me a site that I could find Aberflug and/or East Beast at? I'd really love to look into them to see what I can get done, and for how much.

Thanks ahead of time...

Yeah, the bottom right picture on this link

This is the abflug website.

Both are direct links. I'd also do a search on the forum and google for abflug. PEACE. Tek.
