From everything I've read it appears my headlight control module is out. Drivers side works on high beam only, and changing bulb did not solve it. Passenger side works on both high and low. All other exterior running lights work fine. It's a 2002 Pathfinder and does not have DRL. Where is the module located and is there an aftermarket part or only factory?

Have you checked everything you can with a volt meter? I'd assume its somewhere near a fuse box. Did the factory service manual not tell you?

I don't have a factory service manual.

Its available for free from this website, an invaluable resource for keeping these things running. Look at the links at the top of the page. If you do figure out what the problem is, be sure to tell us what you did in this thread, even if it was something simple.

Not 100% sure, but if it doesn't have a DRL module, then the headlights work through relays.
I'm not sure there is such a thing as a headlight control module.
I'm in Canada, and when my lights started acting up, it was the DRL module.
I don't remember seeing any other module when troubleshooting.
I'll check the FSM though, just to satisfy myself, if nothing else.

You're right. Mine must have relays or fuses. My pathfinder does not have DRL. So, I wouldn't have a control module :gapteeth:
