Hey peeps I just had a crazy idea and I wanted to get some feedback. How do you think it would look to have s15 headlights w/ drl (l.e.d. or other type city light) and 3.5K fogs in low beam side, and 6K hi/low beam in projector? Drl gets power while light switch is in off or P-lamps.When switch is on, hid projector comes on and drl's go off. Fogs can be wired to illuminate w/ headlamps, or be on isolated switch if thats your preference.

Like I said, just a random idea but tell me what you think. or

The shape of the S15 headlight seems well suited to Audi-style LED running lights. I have never liked regular DRLs and definitely don't think of them as an aesthetic bonus regardless of the color of light the produce. If I owned a CTS the first thing I would do is disable the daytime running lights.

Yea that seems a viable option as well, but I'm not too comfy opening my $700 headlights and risk moisture intrusion. I know that sounds kinda retarded since I would more than likely have to open the housing to put a grommet on the inside and drill into the housing to mount the other style drl

I just think the audi-style drl's are being overdone already! I guess that's my main point. You've got various kits and adapters you can buy, and then of course the thousands of one-off creations. Maybe just skip the drl in the headlight and keep the 3.5K fogs in the low beam housing. Pwr on w/ headlights, no independent switch? I think I've seen that before. I know a few guys around here w/ 1-piece headlights on their Integras running that type config and it seems to work out well.

Would it be overkill to have some aux driving lights mounted in the bumper somewhere...for example a pair of Hella Micro DE's. I believe they are 6K as well.
