Can any of you point me toward a good headlight cleaning guide to get rid of that yellowness on my '95s headlights. Or maybe just a great bottle of cleaner. Either way, I just want them clear again.

Hey dude, just get some mothers rim polish and apply it to the headlight, just make SURE you dont get any on your paint, use a rag apply a lot then rub it out as if waxing. Then after the yellow crap is gone take some turtle wax and wax it so it doesnt happen again for a long time.

What I did was wash them off first, then apply some nail polish remover and scrub a bit and by the end the cotton balls I used were already pretty yellow.

After I figured I did it enough I put on some Mothers Mag and Aluminum polish and scrubbed for a while, till I got tired really. And you don't want to let it dry. Then after buffing it all out I put on some wax and then when that was all buffed out I put on some Rain-X and buffed that out.

By the time I was done the lights were really shiny again, and they felt really smooth to the touch too. Bad thing I felt like it didn't last all that long, maybe about a month and a half, before I had to do it again. But right afterwards, damn did they look nice.

Im pretty sure that if you want to clean the insides, then your gonna have to open them up and from what iv'e seen, they are sealed with this black stuff and I don't think your supposed to unseal them unless you can re-seal them somehow.

Most of the yellowness should be on the outside layers of plastic anyways.

Is it just me or do your corner lights never yellow like the headlights do?
