headlight bulbs

those of you who dont have factory hid or projectors, what headlight bulbs are you using? Im using some MTEC cool whites right now and they just are not bright enuff

My headlights are still stock. They never blew so I never changed them. But if I had to get new bulbs, I'd prob get a couple Sylvania Xtravision or Silverstars.

8000K HID kit from DDM. Other than the small issue with reverse polarity and all that, they've worked great so far.

im not real big on blinding other drivers, if i was getting HID it would have to be with a proper projector setup

To be honest, I don't think our HIDs blind other drivers that much at all. Yeah, obviously they're a lot brighter and glare more than regular halogen bulbs, but I had my sister drive my car toward me from about a mile away and it wasn't too bad at all. I've seen a lot worse, especially with lifted trucks or cars with unaimed headlights.

I still have yet to be flashed by oncoming drivers, though.

well that didnt take much arm twisting, im putting in an order for HIDs from DDM this week
