Ive been reading through any related sounding topic to avoid starting a topic which already has the answer but i am unsure.

and im sure its an obvious answer but...

I can put brighter headlight bulbs in my stock headlights, right?

do i need to replace low and high beam bulbs etc...

its one of those questions with a simple answer but i just need to be told the answer! my bad lol

and what bulbs can go in? like all those 3000k etc or just whatever i want as long as its the right harness?

thanks guys haha

hey, its alright.... yes you can put better ones in. In fact, i just put in some new Sylvania bulbs and they look HELLA better than stock. As for low/high beams, generally lights come with high and low beams in them already. At least for my car they did, there should be no need to buy two separate bulbs. You can use your factory harness. just make sure your getting the right bulb

Silvania lamps are straight drop-in replacement. Exactly the same as replacing with stock lamps. One thing to keep in mind with Silverstars is that a lot of people have had issues with short lamp life. I've run Silverstars in my car for years, and most of the time I only got 9 or so months out of a pair. Considering that they're already double the cost of normal lamps, that's definitely something to be aware of before you buy a pair. For me, the difference in illumination was still worth it (probably 90% of my time on the road is after dark). The Silverstar Ultras don't seem to be as bad this way, though, at least in my experience. I've had the same set of Ultras in for just under 2 years and they're still fine. They also provide even better illumination than regular Silverstars.

There are other brands out there, too, though. I just can't recall them off the top of my head.

Go to some aftermarket parts store or even Nissan. I bought a pair of their knock-off HID headlights but they work great! Been using them for over a year now and they are awesome! Very bright and have a blue tint to them that for some reason makes everything much more visable at night. I would really encourage everyone to try them!

Also I had the Silverstar and Silverstar Ultras as well.. and had the same problem with the regualr Silverstar's. But I even preffer these fake HID's over the ultras! And its only $30 for the pair of them! Just try them out..

They look like these...http://www.overstock.com/Auto-....html

My Nissan dealer had them and most of the others I have been to had them as well. If Nissan doesnt have them then look at a car accessoreis shop. I have seen them at Mr.Detail. they just sell rims, exhaust, steering wheels, that sort of stuff and had headlights too E-bay is always an option as well.

Obviously like I said before I like the blue's. I dont think they are too blue. for sure not as blue as a nice BMW or Mercedes headlight. Its just a nice blue tint, it makes it look like more of a natural light when your driving. And i think provides better visibilty becasue of that.
