Headlight Bulbs Idea

So from some research I have done I have found that the low beam bulb is a 9006 and the high beam bulb is a 9005....

My question is has anyone thought of running a Yellow 9006 bulb inplace of the high beam 9005 bulb?

The reason for my question is that I am going to be doing the 8000k HID for the lows and wanted to do 3000K in the High beam location. So that I can run both the low and high beam at all time to get more lighting as I am driving at night. The output from both bulbs is equal just be more contrasting against the darkness of night.

For me the light output needs to be increased as I work at over nights. Come in and it is dark and heading out and it is still just as dark...


Any input would be appreciated.

As long as the bulb does not exceed 55watts you should be okay.
