yesterday after dinner, i noticed a 'hot-spot' on the ground coming from the driver side headlight. comes to find out, the left side headlight auto level motor module burned out. luckily i had a second one. i swapped them out, and it improved somewhat, but not better. so now the left side headlight refuses to go up high enough to be of any use. either the part the module hooks up too isnt tight enough to hold onto the motor module, or the reflector is somehow malfunctioning. idk- kinda at a loss for now.

-i swear to god, if its not one thing- its another; with this car.

"refuses to go up high enough to be of any use" That's all the part of the joy of dealing with an aging (car) body. :naughty:

Removed the level-motor, took it apart, and realized the motor doesnt work. I had a 2nd unit and installed it. After some testing, i am back in business. I leveled where i want it and unplugged the motor. F-it. Worthless feature.

Fyi: when re-installing the module, tilt it upwards so the nipple attaches and slidea down into the harness thats inside. Its not a push-in style attachment in the headlight.

this is the module. the spot that is touching my thumb, is the part that slipped out of the slot thats inside the headlight.
