Andy from http://www.bluebatmobile.net wanted to see if there was any interest in overlays for our V's, he does really good work, check out his page, lots of examples......He will use my car for doing the templates, so any ideas of what style everyone would like.....

Well... my thoughts on the matter...

1) There's already a company that makes pre-cut Versa headlight overlays. They make clear ones for protection, but they also make the blue, yellow, and 2 or 3 different smoke colors.

2) The smoke colors are all quite illegal on a street-licensed and driven vehicle because they cut light output from the headlamps.

3) Personally, if I make the plunge for smoking the rears, I'm just going to buy a set from Bob.

No offense to your guy.. just personally have 0 interest in this.

Why not. Tell him to make some smoke tail light overlays. A company has yet to make those.

I would be interested in taillights smoked overlay. It would be easier then to do it ourselves. Using a overlay also makes it completely reversable I believe.

forget the headlight and tailight overlays...

if he'd make carbon fiber overlays or the those two silver bits on the steering wheel (with the controls on both sides) I'd purchase a set!!

Yeah, I really like the idea of carbon fiber overlays on those two bits of steering wheel trim. I probably get that.

You have way too much time, and photo shop on your hands.

Actually, if I recall, the faux wood grain kits that can be ordered for the Versas can also be ordered in colors instead. If you want "more", then that's the way to go. I think their interior kit is something ridiculous like 64 pieces.

I think my interior is already pretty much like carbon fiber? Ok just looked, not the steering wheel but the armrests on the door and the dash are.
