Hello,
Somebody backed into my bumper while I was at the mall the other day. I have a minor dent in the bumper, which is nothing really. I was going to try to push it out from the back, until I noticed at night that my driver's side headlight is aiming down much more than the other one. I don't really have the time to get it repaired right now. was wondering if anyone has recently adjusted the headlight aim on this year sentra.
I usually do my own repairs, but I have insurance coverage. Just wanted to get the headlights aimed correctly, and get the big fix after the holidays.
Also, I've been looking for a repair manual for this car, and the only thing I can find is the factory manuals for $300. I'd like to get one of those Chilton's or Haynes manuals, mostly because they seem more geared to a DIYer. I used to be a tech for Chrysler, but that was in the stone age....before all these computers and sensors. The technology I learned is long gone.
Any help is appreciated.
PS I looked in the owner's manual. It instructs on how to replace the headlight bulb, but says to go to the Stealer for aiming. I was just there yesterday to get the 22,500 mile service. That, and a new cabin air filter was $200. I thought Ford was high. The only reason I went to the dealer was to keep the extended warranty in affect. They don't like it much when you only show up for warranty.
Thanks, Leo
