Headlamps go on and off

On my 240SX 1993 convertible, left and right headlamp goes on and off separately.For example, left is on and right is off when I start, and right goes on after sometime, then left goes off another sometime later. There seems to be no regularity. Each one just goes on and off whenever it wants, regardless how the other one is doing.It looks to me as if the wire is about to cut.

Can anyone tell me where exactly I should look into?

Switch? You mean at the driving seat? I guess not, because it does not have switch for left and right separately..Do you mean a switch under hood? If you do, can you tell me where it is located?

the switch for turning your head lights on. each head light is operated by seperate circuits through the switch.
