This is odd. My headlamp switch never worked right when I bought the car. The previous owner did sleepy eye mod and idk how to fix it yet. So u use the cylinders next to the headlamp and turn it so my headlights pop up all the time to see at night. I wanted to put them down just for a little and while I was turning the knob for the right one I can turn it 45 degreas and then it automatically goes back. It's a strong turn it does. By the motor? Or what I have no idea. I can't keep turning it it just goes back right away. How do I fix it? And what is causing it? It's so weird

Did you google different ways to do sleepy eye mods? I know a way. In my s14 the previous owner put a push button start and i had to rip everything apart just to find out how he did it lol. It took alot of short cuts with this car )= so basically, figure out how to do the mod (in as many ways as you can find) and try to fix it. If the lights are always up, pop off your button and see if the BROWN wire is cut.

I figured that out. You can't turn the knobs manually with the harnesses plugged in for some reason. Anyway my headlight switch never worked. I have another post about it. But now I've gotten to the point where if you out the headlights all gone wag down manually you can use the switch to pop them up. I can't get them to go down so the switch could work for popping them up and down that's what I want. Any ideas?
