Is there a way to reduce the headlamp delay time in which the headlamps extinquish after turning the car off. I like to keep the headlights in the "automatic" function. The headlamps stay on for a full 45 seconds after turning off the car, which is way too long for me. Looking at the manual, I think the only way to stop this is to use the "off" function on the headlamps. I have 2005 Altima SE.

Thanks in Advance, Ray

Pretty sure just turning the knob five degrees clockwise when you park the car will do the trick. :P

So you are saying just turn headlamps to off position is the only recourse. Thanks

Yeah, basically. :D Sorry I couldn't be more helpful. I suppose you might be able to hack into the programming if you were really enthusiastic about it, but the amount of energy expended for that endeavor wouldn't nearly account for less then all the years of toggling it off one notch when you park.
