Gap your plugs tighter.
Start small. Pull back your ignition timing a few degrees and work on getting your AFR correct. Since you're MAF, this shouldn't take long. Once you reach your target AFR, begin to slowly walk in the timing. 0.3 to 0.5 degree increments are where you want to start with. If you're far from where the timing should be, you should see (relatively) large power gains. Once you stop seeing power gains (it will very quickly diminish), stop adding timing (or even pull back 0.3 degrees for safety). Do all this starting on spring pressure if you're using a boost controller. Once you're happy with the AFR and timing, you can up the boost. If more boost does not give you more power(or very little), stop adding boost.
Assuming the motor is healthy (no damage to the chamber, no hot spots, etc), there is no reason for it to knock. You'll hit MBT (minimum best timing) before the engine knocks. Regardless of this, if your ECU shows knock readings, keep an eye on it to be safe. If you have a set of knock ears, use them. Don't be afraid to periodically check the spark plugs for signs of detonation if you're worried.
