Does anyone know the factory headgasket thickness when torqued down?

Also what is the deck clearance @ TDC (if any) from piston top?

Are you thinking of what I think you're thinking of? That is, lowering compression via a thicker headgasket.

Nope, I'm thinking of knowing the headgasket thickness when installed so I can properly simulate piston/valve clearance with the 3d test rig I'm developing.

Ever find out the thickness?

If not, I have another VH45DE I'm fixing to rebuild and can measure the head gasket thickness when I pull the heads off if you like.

I measured my headgaskets off my old motor and got roughly 1.35mm, which isn't all that flash since it's a used gasket and no longer under compression from the head bolts.

An official value would be far more awesome.

In a related side note... I read the Nismo catalogue on friday.... it has some VH41 headgaskets, and the description says they're 0.5mm thick. It's the only VH related item in the entire Nismo catalogue!
