Hey guys I use to run my KA24e turbo on stock headgasket and it blew out. I would like to know what kind of headgasket would work so I can run my turbo again? Thanks.

I reccomend the Cometic Multi Layer Steel (MLS) headgakset. Some people complain about it and I dont know why: its a high quality part that worked perfect for me at 20psi boost. ...Just make sure to have your block and head resurfaced (decked) before swapping over to a headgasket like this.

ka24E fiz and i don't think cometic makes a HG for the SOCH. I used a felpro HG on my SOHC at 15psi it held just fine.

oh really? huh I thought the E block was pretty similar to the DE... Might have to do some research on this one. Cometic makes their gaskets to order so I dont see why they cant put one together for the -E too. Worth looking into anyways.

the e and de are similar, they are to my knowledge exactly the same everywhere but the timing hole as far as head gaskets are concerned.

Hey Whooping180sx how much boost are you running? And what are you using for afr and timing control? I used to blow fel-pro's all the time then I went to a nissan dealer and got a ''stock'' gasket and that fixed my headgasket issues

JUST USE FACTORY HQ FROM NISSAN,but spend some money tunning u blew it cuz it wasn't tuned right, some E just run OEM with ARP bolts and 30psi, and HQ holds up. If u get metal Hq and still don't tune next thing ur pistons/rods/bearings gonna go . .

but E-DE comet can be easily modified just cut out timing cover part from DE gasket and instead use liquid gasket, or timing cover part cut off from OEm gasket. Thats the only difference between E and DE block Timing cover shape/bolt location.
