A great resource for Nissan Sentra, Infiniti G20, 200sx, Pulsar, NX1600, NX2000, Tsuru, Primera and Sunny owners.

Head gasket is only part of the equation. Has the bottom end been built to withstand boost. The QR is a high compression engine and any engine with high compression should be lowered to compensate for boost applications. To be honest, I would never buy a project car from someone, too many headaches and nightmares lurk around the corner.

well the copression ration is 9.5 :1 and I know hondas runing more psi that 10 on stock internals with just a headgasket and headstuds unless nissans internals are weaker than anyone elses this is a decent budget build just dont know about the headgasket

The internals on the qr are not that strong and 8-10 psi (300whp) already puts those rods at the limits. Just because someone with a Honda is running more boost doesn't mean it's ok or that engine will last long.

I know I'm just trying to get an idea of how strong the internals are because ive read there good for 380 to the wheels and now your saying 300 so thats basicly all im looking for and would the 07 HG lower the compression ratio but I dont know for sure thats why I'm posting that on here

The 07 engine made the same horsepower as the 02, so the headgaskets should be the same.
