Hey my head gasket blew. I am trying to replace it with a metal one. Which one should I go with Cometic(cheaper) or Greddy(expensive), also the sizes im looking at 1.2mm, 1.3mm 1.4mm? Also, the bore size on these head gaskets rangefrom 86.5 to 88mm where the standard size 86mm. Please I need help with which one to go with?

1.2mm is the normal i see people running. stock is .8mm i think. i run 20psi fine on the stock HG. id imagine you could squeeze another 2psi from putting a 1.2mm in. but havnt totally researched this concept.

if you are not goin with a crazy buildup buy a 1.0mm cometic and get some head studs, measure and match to your bore...

use a 1.0mm unless you are shooting for over 20 psi boost, if you are goin high boost use a thicker gasket, plan your motor with your local speed shop. do your research.

metal headgaskets USUALLY leak when owners dont get the head and block decked straight. i used Cometic on my KA-T after i decked my head and it held 18psi daily and even a 25psi boost spike a couple times on a t3/t4 57 trim. this was indeed with some ARP headstuds holding it down.
