I have a 94 240 it is a coupe. Ok this is probably going to get the reponse of just buy a new engine. Ok I know for sure that I have a blown head gasket. As you know the car heats up very fast. So I figure that, that is the headgasket. So when I start it I have blue smoke and white smoke. I believe that the white smoke it from oil in the fuel line. The blue smoke I think is from the piston rings. So if the blue smoke is from the piston rings I would have to change those. Also everything I have driven it the radiator has been empty eventhough I have topped it off everytime. So I'm guess that the water going in because of head gasket.. I dont think it is a leak because I have not seem any water or oil spots under my car. I checked all of the hoses and there is no water comming out of those. If i have maybe a cracked head how could I check for it and or know.So I am at a loss right now I'm not to entirely sure about what is wrong with my car. So if anyone has any ideas as what is wrong with it please give your advice it would be greatly appreciated. Also if I need to change the headgasket could you tell me a website that can show me how to properly remove and put together the headgasket and possibly the piston ringsOh I also checked the dipstick for the oil and its practially water with a small hint of oil. Also the whenever I rev up the engine the belts start to sqeak and to be honest it sounds like ****.

What color is the liquid on your dipstick? If its milkyish then you've got a blown h/g for sure..

Also, heres what the colors out of your exhaust mean.Black = fuelWhite = coolantBlue = oil

To get rid of the squeaky belt(s) find out which one(s) are loose and tighten them.. Its pretty easy.. Also, I wouldnt say replace the engine if you have a blown h/g cause thats pretty easy to replace/repair.. Check on zilvia.net to find out how to remove the head.. you will need a ring compressor (clamp that compresses around the piston/rings to keep them tight when you put them down into the cylinder) to replace the rings.. Hope this all helps..

Ok if you got water in your oil then you have a leak either in the head gasket or the intake somewhere. If you have been driving the car with this condition you can be pretty sure those bearings have been run dry because of the water and they will fail sooner rather than later, if they havent already.
