Headers with Nismo Cat-Back???

I've been looking on Leeparts.com at the Nismo Cat-Back Exhaust System. I was told by a friend not to get that system because it doesn't have header included? Is this true? Is the header separate?

Im new to all of this, so any information would be helpful.

No, I don't think an aftermarket header exists for the 4th generation Altimas, at least not the 3.5 models

Also, a header is usually not included with Cat back systems to my knowledge

Most aftermarket exhaust systems DO NOT include headers unless specified but in all my years of building motors (domestic) I've never seen this. That doesn't mean there is a company out there that DOES include headers with their exhaust systems though. Maybe someone out there can chime in and shed some light on the subject....

Well, I'm not sure what your buddy was speaking of:

A Cat-back system is exactly that:

it bolts up to the catalytic converter(s) and the pipes run all the way thorugh the muffler. (These system include muflfler, tips, and assoicated pipes)

Axle-Back is just a muffler and tips (only rear axle back)

Headers (hence the name) are the initial (head) output of the exhaust and come in many varieties from bolt on to weld, custom and pre-fabbed

Headers are sold seperate from exhaust systems..but I guess someone could do a package deal.
