Sorry for the thread spamming, this is my last one for a while. Will N/A aftermarket 300zx headers fit the J30? Im not sure they will fit because of the different engine bays.

nala i hate to disappoint you but the NA 300zx headers will not fit due to clearance issues(ie the steering column on the J is in the way)

your best bet would be to have headers fabbed and installed...and with that youre looking at around 800-900

Actually you better wait until you've driven the J a few years and have some real life driving experience before you upgrade the J. I know a few guys here will vouch with me on the fact that the J has nearly made a few of us wet our pants in rain/snow or even just playing around a little too much. And most of us have driven it or other cars a few years.

And if you're complaining about gas now...modding it is not going to give any better mpg.

And the OEM exhaust is pretty much as good as it get anyhow ..Sound doesn't equal performance.

The stock exhaust might be pretty good but the stock manifolds have room for improvement.

yoda's right. cosmetics is the only thing right now. Its not worth selling either, il save money for a car good on gas (240sx, integra, civic), and then keep the J as a weekend car
