I was told that aftermarket headers are not worth the price nor the hassle. For there is not much overall whp gain vs stock hearders. What are yalls take on this? Post wut ur running if you have aftermarkets on your ride.

Be sure and post up in the engine forum too...

My take is that headers are not worth the time/money for the added HP. And, if you go with turbo, they can't be used. (unless you go STS, which I also don't recommend)

I've never heard of really any headers giving you much horses anyway.... They are known for opening up a sh*t load of torque. The reason i don't have them is because i plan to go turbo, there fore i don't want to waste the money. But for the right price i might by some (used).

Change the thread title, i thought someone had done the heads or had a question about them.......

Yeah thats the set up Altered Atmosphere suggests. I'm just going to buy any reputable HFC's i can get the best deal on. Depending on when i get the money saved up.

HFC's = High flow cats

On another note... guys, we (actually more RN,Beaner and Joe because I have been away) have worked and are still working very hard to move all old threads to the appropriate sub forums. Please keep this forum free of specific G questions. This should be posted in the engine forum...

It's creating more work for us.

Thanks.
