Headers perfomace questions

Ok i have 500 bucks and i want to get headers for my SOHC 89 240. i am looking to get the most perfomace out of my car for 500 bucks and this is what i thought my best option would be. do you guys agree????

Do you have an exhaust system? If no then whats the point in getting headers, you dont usually feel significant gains from headers unless you pair it up with a exhaust system. If you do have an exhaust then more power to you. I think greddy makes headers for your car, hotshot also makes headers but i'd go for th greddy. it should be under $500 & if you have money left over get a k&n filter. Let me know how it goes when your done

I'd do intake and exhaust first if you don't have that already. Don't forget to tune it up if you have not done so already. No point in modding a car that is not in a good state of tune.

DON'T GET GREDDY. get hotshot, that's what i have, and it fits a lot better than a cheap ol greddy.

Agreed, that's eXactly how my mod list went. I got my intake first, then exhaust, tune up, I'm gonna get my clutch in a few days, and then a header. :)

i heard with hotshots that it doesnt line up right with the cat and something about the second o2 sensor. Whats so bad about greddy?

those problems have been fixed. well, actually, it doesn't line up perfectly with cat, but it's not hard to straighten it.
