please don't buy this CRAPY SHIZ...get something with a reputation; like CATTMAN!!

http://www.Cattman.com has headers, y-pipes, mid pipes, mufflers, True cold air intake...all with proven performance increase and CARB#'s for smog purposes.

whatever...dude, you've seen my car and how it runs. i bought my header/y-pipe setup from "ssautochrome" who is also an ebay seller. i have never had any issues what-so-ever and have been very pleased with them. they sound great and i can definately feel a performance gain!!

...lol

dont' get your panties in a bunch nismo1219...wow, be calm.

haters never prosper

i simply offered up my recommendation...take it at face value.

I recommend http://www.cattman.com b/c of their reputation, and their smog legality.

Stillen charges too much for something that will get you a Violation on your record.

Guys, there is one simple fact that trumps all with headers and the 3.0L. Headers only add minimal hp gains over the y-pipe alone on the 4th gen (unless you have Cali emissions on a 99). The main benefits of headers on a Maxima/I apply only to 3.5L engines that have the pre cats built into the exhaust manifolds.

In Ben's (nismo1219) case, he has a show car, and yes the headers do look great. But for hp gains, it's not worth the money in my opinion.

But that's just my opinion.

Those look like the exact headers that I had on my max, only half the price. Get them if you want, they were great.

With what Scott (maxhopper97) said, I had an intake, headers, exhaust, and unorthodox pulley and still only gained 18 hp over stock. Not bad, but not a lot of gains either.

that's something I never liked about import owners. HP isn't the only thing that matters. How about the increase in Torque? Headers and y-pipes help out with torque more than HP. You want to get off the line? You need torque. There are days where I miss my Camaro. It had torque to spare. As for me, I wouldn't go with exhaust from Ebay personally. Cattman seems to be the best way to go because of the legality of it (emissions wise). Good luck

When I went to the dyno, my max spiked at 168 WHP, BUT, torque was 207. Sorry for not mentioning that.

dude, in the end it comes down to this - its YOUR money! i simply bought them because, like scott said, i show my car and i just like being able to say it has basically every bolt-on available. i have everything on my car that jeremiah had on his as mentioned above and i love it. the next performance mods i would do at this point (as of now im planning on staying N/A) is getting a set of cams and an EManage Ultimate!! wurd!!

its all the same sh** if it lines up correctly. Most of the gains come from removing the cats.

Actually, there is not that much gain at all from the removal of catalytic converters. If anything, you could even lose HP due to lose of back pressure. Notice that most maxima owners never remove the cats, instead maybe just replace it with a high flow from Cattman or Magnaflow.
