DC sports are really good, not bad on price either!

Why not save for a power adder? Headers are a major pain to install, and don't give you the numbers for the amount of work put in! The only problem with FI is the high price of admission...starting at 4k for the Stillen stage 2 + hood. I'm going Vortech...eventually. (5,500 for the charger, injectors, computer)

Another option is upgrade your stereo. Maybe add a sub/amp combo. I love the way my system sounds! You can do it in stages, rather than replace everything at once.

so you would go with a super charger over a turbo? i have heard that the super chargers are better on this car...what do you say?

Thats a highly debated topic!! My feeling is that a turbo is more expensive, but you have more gain. If you go twins, you will have room to grow. That being said, if you don't have it tuned, the added power will destroy a stock block quicker than a supercharger.

Personally, I love the supercharger sound. I've had twin turbo cars (3000GT VR4), but never a supercharged one. The cost difference is extreme.

Here's some pro's and con's:

Supercharger: less expensive to get into the game. You can do the install (still need a custom tune though). CARB legal. Less power output compared to most turbo setups. Stillen requires new/modified hood.

Turbo: Best power gains, less HP loss. Not CARB legal. More expensive, difficult install. Adds massive amount of heat in the engine bay (except STS systems)

Any FI can be deadly to an engine that isn't tuned. Spend the money for a good tune!

thank you for the info sir so the charger would be cheaper...and safer than the turbo..but the gains won't be as great...what kind of changes am i going to have to make to ensure safe gains w/t the charger? larger pulleys.....etc?

The VQ35 can handle around 400RWHP before things start to break. When you do your tune, you can decide to go with a smaller pulley for more power. The best thing to do is to ensure your not running lean. Larger injectors and a good FMU will save your butt! I've heard good things about the UTECH box.

Do some research, you'll find all the info...
