i doubt you will kill any torque. many people like the hotshot for their de motors but i dont know about the e. do you also have exhaust? if so you could prob expect some definite top end(how much? i dunno 6-12hp?)

Sorry i should have been more technical it has a pulley, custom 2.25 exhaust, ingen intake. I just wondered if any body had the same set up and by adding a header to this combo was it worth the trouble? Yeah i know the SR20 is the way to go . I can still wish. THANX 4 UR TIME.

heh...who ever said sr20 was the way to go...there are plenty of things you can do to the ka to get some serious power out of it. Yes, the header will give you some better top end, and no, it won't really kill torque any.

i love my hotshot header it is great you get a lil bit more roar to it sounds great and in the sohc you tend to feel it kicking off at around 4500 but after the header it pulls harder to redline not like wow im already there but you will enjoy the increase i did =)

a header will not actually do anything to the way the car performs without an exhaust system and intake to back it all up.

It may "feel" like it helps, but there is no actual gain as it only will smooth out the exhaust flow coming out of the head.

Yeah, I doubt it will kill any torque. You might get, on average, 10 H.P. to the crank with a header. I would recomend the Hotshot header.[URL][http://hotshotperformance.com//URL]
