I know this might seem like a really newbie-ish question, but I honestly dont know. I was looking to buy some headers off of eBay, and I was checking out the OBX headers and the DC ones. I noticed that the OBX headers has the end of the pipe that extends down further than the DC one. Why is this and where does it go to? Why is the DC one shorter? Am I just seeing things? Is the picture shown in either auction not for the s13 240?

This is the DC one which seems a lot shorter in length..http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...33631

This is the OBX one which seems to have a longer pipe at the end..http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...33631

I apologize if the answer is really simple guys, im not too mechanically inclined...

Your confusion is due to the fact that the picture shown is for a header on a FWD car. most likley a 90's honda due to it curving back on itself (exhaust side of pre "K" motors are facing the front of the car). The DC Sports S13 header looks like this:

Now between the 2 companies, I would probably go with DC Sports. When I was into Honda's I found their products to be far superior to OBX's, but then again, that was with Honda's

Also make sure you check out Hotshot headers as well. Good product.

Hope this all helped, good luck!

In my opinion I would go with the Hotshot header, I have used the Greddy Header in the past but after going thru 3 of them because they kept cracking on the welds I switched to the Hotshot. I wouldn't put too much faith in the OBX one but the DC is worth a shot. If you want a good price on the hotshot go to this website, its where I got mine.
