i've been having an issue with my car since i did a header install. my car is throwing four codes on all four o2 sensors( qg18de). all of the o2 sensors are brand new. i got two bungs welded into the header for the bottom two heater o2 sensors and using the ghetto simulator on both. the symptoms are bogging at high rpms around speeds of 60 to 80 mph. the cel always comes back on. i can't figure this one out.

thanks for any help.

The QG is really quirky about the O2 sensors. Something to do with the order of them and such. I'll do some searching and see if I can find the info.

Check the wiring. The rear ones especially. Are they in with a defouler or is this a resistor-based wiring sim?

Hmm... what codes are you getting exactly? Is it for the O2 heater, a circuit malfunction, or what?

i can't exactly rememberwhat the codes are but i can go to autozone to check what they are. i believe they're circuit malfunction codes on all four o2's. i'll post them up in a little bit.

This is going to sound absolutely silly, but are you sure you have the sensors in the right order? As in that you didn't cross the front ones with each other and the rear ones are in the same succession they were in to begin with?

If you have time and either don't remember the order or think you have it right, try different combinations and see.
