Headers are not worth the time and $$ IMO. And, if you plan on going FI, they can actually hurt the power output.

Headers can be a PITA to install especially if you don't have a second set of hands to hold the header in place while you get the bolts started.

I'd think a shop would charge less then $200 if they don't do any welding on the install.

Call a few exhaust shops in your area and get quotes.... You can stop in and check them out before you let them work on your car. I found a great exhaust shop here in Phoenix that way. I called around and went and watched them do some exhaust work on other peoples cars before I let them work on mine.

A side note.... most shops will make your exhaust not street legal if you pay cash...

On my Hemi I tried 5 different set ups before I got it right and it was nice to roll into Apache Muffler on my lunch hour and roll out with new exhaust while I waited! The guys would even let me under the truck while it was on the lift to take pictures!

BTW MagnaFLOW mufflers sound the best IMO!

are you going with stillen, or DC?

and i cant see how headers could hurt power output in a supercharged application...with a turbo, you use turbo manifolds so that dosent apply...
