header+exhaust tips....

Hey ! I just bought a black 95 240sx. And I want to install some performance stuff in hit , now i'd like ya'll to say a little about that hotshot header , is it as good as they say , i dont want to waste my money , i also want to buy apexi n1 dual exhaust + a hi flow catalytic converter , i hope that i'll feel the changes.... please give me some tips on if i should do it or what else , thanks....

the header replaces the cat. Therefore you have no need to buy a cat. But as previously mentioned search for info

Nope, Hotshot header bolts to the cat. It eliminates the dummy empty cat on some S14s. This bogus info the newbies keep giving is making me annoyed.......btw, I'm a HUGE Hardy Boys (the detective novels) fan from years back.......

I've seen dynos on one site for these basic mods. The setup was a cone filter, hotshot header, performance cat, and apexi exhaust. These 4 things add about 15 hp or so. Here is the site- take a look.

I have the HS header for my 97 240 and it DOES replace the cat. In fact, it extends all the way down to the dummy cat.
