so my s14 is torn apart at the moment for body and paint.

i installed and after market ebay long tube one piece header, but it is extremely close to the trans bell house, like a 1/4 of an inch.

i was wonder if there would be an issue down the road where the header would hit the trans?

and if any one new how to adjust the gap

i was thinking about heating up the tubes at the bends and pulling it to the side...

any one have any other suggestions?

any help would be appreciated thanks

once installed your motor - trans - header will all move togeather as thay will be bolted down tight as hell. it may cause some exhaust rubbing farther down the exhaust if you use a bolt on. ebay stuff is known for fitment issues.

i run ebay from header to arse end..i had no fitment issues what so ever...allthou..i do have a flexible link in my downpipe..that may be the difference...as far as im am concerned...if your going to race it..why pay gobs to replace it when you rip it off the car on some curb or what ever...i love ebay stuff!...get your self a flexible downpipe and solve that issue.

i actually did have a flex down pipe but i damaged it trying to avoid some rocks in the road and ended up going over prob the bigest one.

thats why i replaced it with the one piece.

but you do bring up a good point and great solution to my problem

thanks and a to you too!
