Hi, so today i took it to the shop to diagnose why the car is rattling on startups and sometimes acceleration,
The mechanic concluded that it was the header that the 2 bolts on the header is missing and broken

Now, im don't have any sort of mechanical experience but would love to give it a try.
Is this an Easy fix? can i just take off the header cover and sneak in the bolts? or can i leave it the way it is and will it damage the engine?
I do not notice any power loss, it revs up to 6K just fine not choking or anything.

take the shield off to see if there's anything left. if it broke off in the head i would recommend professional help. if theres a lip left go go vicegrips or use a grinder and a wrench.

If it's broken outside the head, use a grinding wheel to grind a slit in the bolt. Then grab it with a pair of vise grips and stick a flathead screwdriver in the slit. Use both to loosen the bolt out.

If it's broken inside the head, you're gonna have to either drill it out or drill a hole into the bolt to get an "easy out" in there. I would strongly recommend using a reverse drill bit in this situation. Sometime the bolt will come out with the force of the reverse bit. You need to be careful with an easy out though. They are strong but brittle. If you use too much force, it'll break and you'll find out then just how uneasy they can be.

When you get it out and get new bolts, most people would recommend using some kind of thread locker. I do not recommend any. I would raher a bolt back out then break off and have to fight it and the locker to get it out.

ok so i took a look again
the bolt looks vice grippable.

But the thing is the entire header cover screwes is rusted and tight as hell to get them off.
Now will it do any harm to the engine if say i let it stay like this?

No shouldn't cause any problems to the engine. To take it off use lots of PB blaster and also tourch those bolts for around 30 secs. That should do the trick. Now spray PB blaster n let it dry a bit or when you tourch it Its gonna lit up Haha. Happened to me, different situation. But its just a small flame dont worry tho.
Also if u have a lot of space do it like the other guys say. Use a grinding wheel and cut a deep straight line on the bolt. Then I would use this tool*forgot the Name* but what it does is. its like a flat head screwdriver but u hit it at the top with a hammer and turns the head making the bolt turn a bit. Screwdriver punch I think? If someone knows the same of it pleaee post it.

Do not use an impact driver, use a long breaker bar. Ur in for a trick if u cant get the shield covers off. Use vice grips on the studs, before u slot and try a screwdriver. last but not least, what ever u do, dont use an easy out, just drill the bolt out stepping up bit sizes at a time.

ok so i got the exhaust manifold bolts all taken off, except i cant take it off cuz theres not enough room to take it off.
There is the steel or aluminum looking hose right beside it, i cant seem to bend it to make room

its a SOHC setup if that makes any differnce

Make sure to use good hardware (bolts and nuts) when you put the new studs back in. It's cheap insurance.

If you can get any of the good bolts out, I would take one of those out and go to ACE hardware to get the new ones. To keep the new ones from backing out, use a lock washer along with a flat washer. It also wouldn't hurt to put loctite on all the threads.
